There are many reasons why people love the windy city besides it’s colorful attractions and amazing pizza. According to Learning English, Chicago ranks at the second most popular city to visit in America because of all of the great things it has to offer. Chicago is also home to a lot of famous people like Tina Fey, Chance The Rapper, and Gina Rodriguez. Willis Tower – This tower is the second largest building in the United States. It was built in 1973 and now is home to many businesses and tours. A popular tourist attraction to do at Willis Tower is to master the SkyDeck, which allows you to stand on glass that is 1,353 feet above the city.

Millennium Park – This park is home to “The Bean,” a glorious fountain, and The Lurie Garden which is full of flowers. Millennium Park is a big park that tourists love to enjoy. Take a trip to “The Bean” and take a signature picture in front of the mirrored sculpture.

Eat Chicago styled pizza – Chicago is known for having the best pizza around, serving many different styles of pizza. If you like deep dish pizza, Lou Malnati’s is the best place to try a slice. If you prefer thin crust pizza, the place to try a slice is Pizano’s Pizza.

Shedd Aquarium – This aquarium is 75 year old and is loved by a lot of people other than just Chicago locals. At this aquarium, guests get to see different types of species in eight large exhibits. This aquarium offers more than just tanks as well, they offer hands on experiences and 4-D experiences.

Navy Pier – Located on Grand Avenue is Navy Pier. This pier offers daily events including live music and boat tours. There are also fair rides, shops, and food places for guests to enjoy. Navy Pier basically has everything anyone could want out of a pier.

Beaches – What is a surprise to some, yes, Chicago has beaches. The most popular Chicago beaches are Oak Street Beach and North Avenue Beach. Visitors can lay out, rent a bike, kayak, or a jet ski, and enjoy concessions under the sun.

Magnificent Mile – Located on Michigan Ave. is the Magnificent Mile. This hot tourist attraction offers lots of shops for visitors and locals to shop until they drop. Magnificent Mile has stores such as Zara, Brooks Brother, and Chanel. Magnificent Mile is more than just shops, it has galleries that guests have previously enjoyed.

Museums – Another hot tourist thing to do in Chicago is to visit at least one museum. Chicago has a ton of museums throughout the city. A few popular ones include The Field Museum, which has natural history and the largest T-Rex known to man, the Museum of Science and Industry, which focuses on science and the innovation of science, and the Art Institute of Chicago, which has changing exhibits and beautiful art collections.
