Fall Festivals to Attend in Kiawah Island

 Kiawah Island is a beautiful destination no matter the season. But fall is an especially beautiful time to visit the area. With the change of seasons comes pleasant weather and plenty of things to do. The following are some local fall festivals that you may want to make time for when visiting Kiawah Island.

Festival of Mountain Music – October 21st

This festival celebrating mountain-style music will be held at the East Beach Conference Center on Kiawah Island. This event is suitable for all ages and will feature some wonderful southern music. Hosting the event is 4-time Grammy winner, David Holt. Musicians featured include Snyder Family Band, Dom Flemons, and Balsam Range. Tickets are free and can be obtained starting on October 5th from this website.

Pumpkin Hockey at Night Heron Park – November 20th

For a unique take on the classic game of Hockey, bring the whole family to pumpkin hockey at Night Heron Park. This fall-themed event is being held on November 20th from 4:15 to 5:15 PM. Kids and adults alike will enjoy this event. Admission is complimentary.

4th Annual Turkey Hunt at Night Heron Park – November 22nd

This fun annual event has participants searching for hidden turkeys throughout the park. Everyone is split into three age ranges to make the competition fair. Admission is free and the one who finds the golden turkey in each age group will receive a fun prize. This event starts at 11:30 AM and goes to 12:30 PM on November 22nd.

Fall Festival at Night Heron Park – November 22nd

Kiawah Recreation has organized a family-friendly fall festival that will be held at Night Heron Park on November 22nd from 5:30 through 8:00 PM. This festival will have some fun activities for the kids like an inflatable jump castle, face painting, and train rides. Visitors of all ages will enjoy seeing the arts and crafts. There will also be pumpkin bowling and southern lawn games that everyone can enjoy. Admission to the festival is complimentary.
